A budgie here, a budgie there.
Budgies all over the mantlepiece.
Quite adorning.

Mandy Kolps and Spun Tartars loved the wide open spaces.
Oh how gaily they did roam the fields and pastures on their most jovial steeds, 'Steel buttons' and 'Frank Stooly'.
And how divinely did they swim in the cool waters of the rivers and lakes. Many a time did they do this so.
And up above them as they lay on the long flowing grass of the fields, did they see the fluffy clouds and birds passing by and insects buzzing happily on their merry way.
Ah!
Mandy and Spun knew that this was as close to Valhalla as anyone could get. They knew that the days they would speak of in times to come would be these very days.
Find this place do we say, find it and treasure it in your beating brow while you can for it may never return.
Mandy and Spun did and now they are content no matter where they may roam, and whatever sadness and sorrow may force it's diabolical claspings on their souls.
We say these things thus, and thus so.

Hi. How are ya?
I'm good myself, little tired but I'm ok.
So anyhoo, here in Japan convenience stores (heaps of those here!) sell toys kinda like Kinder Surprise but only better. For example
Thunderbirds toys, mini diecast cars, Ultraman toys, etc.
And they usually come with some kind of sweet stuff like a couple of chocolates (called choco here), or just some plain sweets.
Collecting these toys which are in a series, 'collect all 12', is big business 'cause Japanese people just love collecting junky toys. And what these companies do is make one of the toys in the series rare so that people keep on buying their product until they get the complete set (you don't know what you have bought until you open the box you see)...crafty huh?!
Anyhoo, recently I bought one of these junky toys. It was a New Thunderbirds plastic model of TB1...very nicely made model, and made in China of course. And inside the box along with the model was a sachet of some blue powder. 'Groovy' I thought, 'some kind of powder candy'. So I tasted a little sample of it and it turned out to be washing powder!
Now is that weird or not! I didn't know it was washing powder 'cause the sachet was all in Japanese. Or more specifically, kanji (Chinese characters), which is a turkey of a written language to read.
Ah the kids of today...not satisfied with candy, they need washing powder...damn straight they do!
Yeah, so that's my story eh.
Nice talkin' to ya.
Bye then.

Today Kirk will read 'Amor Intellectualis' by Oscar Wilde.
Take it away Kirky...
Amor Intellectualis
'Oft have we trod the vales of Castaly
And heard sweet notes of sylvan music blown
From antique reeds to common folk unknown:
And often launched our bark upon that sea
Which the nine Muses hold in empery,
And ploughed free furrows through the wave and foam,
Nor spread reluctant sail for more safe home
Till we had freighted well our argosy.
Of which despoilèd treasures these remain,
Sordello's passion, and the honied line
Of young Endymion, lordly Tamburlaine
Driving his pampered jades, and more than these,
The sevenfold vision of the Florentine,
And gravebrowed Milton's solemn harmonies.'
As ever, eloquently read Kirky babes.
Thank you.
Well Taggy, how do you feel today?
Not so good Mundy Trees, been a bad week.
Yes, I can understand that, what with all your troubles over the recent times.
Yes, you are right there. Troubled times they have been.
Fear not old chum, the march of time heals all.
By jove yes! You are so rightly right there. But it is in the now that I must get through and for these short inklings of beingness I must persevere the rough trials.
All is not forlorn Taggy my friend of many a time, at least our mutual understanding has lasted this time of times and been steadfast in it's loyalty.
As always Mundy Tree you are a rock of soothing and truth.
Thank you sir!
Think nothing of it.
And so we leave the company of Taggy and Mundy Tree.
Perhaps this reminds you of a warmth and great tidings you have no doubt experienced in your life of lives. So I need not remind you of the valueableness of mutual understanding and alliance.
I'll be on my way then.
Great tidings to you!
