Society frog went about on the town on a balmy Friday night.
Into the bars he went, his place of choice .
He downed a few tequilas and Cuba rivers, feeling good.
A rousing time he did enjoy, the world a blur of happy things the more the night went on.
Yes, Society frog knows how to party, a total party frog.
He knows his purpose, Society frog he does.
It is for Friday night, Friday night, party night.

Ohhhhhhh, the krebs cycle,
it's something we all need,
the krebs cycle, a very loverly thing
YES! the krebs cycle is what we are singing

It starts with the oxidation of pyruvate,
producing CO2, and acetyl-CoA, woo yeah!
Acetyl-CoA reacts with carbon carboxylic acid, oxaloacetate to form citrate,
that's CITRATE, not NITRATE , oh no!

Through a series of reactions citrate is converted back to oxaloacetate...
oxaloacetate, it's GREAT!.
This cycle produces 2 CO2 and consumes 3 NAD+, (3 NAD plus, 3 NAD plus!)
producing 3NADH and 3H+ (3H!, 3H!)
